the century
From The Century in Los Angeles,
residents will be able to walk to a variety
of shops and restaurants, including a new
outpost of celebrity chef Tom Colicchio’s
Craft. The 42-story, elliptical-shaped tower,
designed by Robert A.M. Stern, will feature
140 residences with views from downtown
to the Santa Monica mountains to
the Pacific Ocean.
Buyers can choose from three design
palettes, two by Stern and one by Marmol
Radziner and Associates. The estate-like
residences, fashioned after homes in Bel Air
and Beverly Hills, will feature great rooms
with fireplaces, spacious balconies, and large
master bedroom suites with spa-like bathrooms.
Private concierge closets for each
residence will accommodate the delivery
of mail, packages, and dry cleaning.
Outside, the property’s four acres will offer
room to roam, with a great lawn, intimate
areas for relaxing, social gathering spots, and
a forest of pine trees. The Century is also
expected to receive LEED (Leadership in
Energy and Environmental Design) Silver
certification, which required the incorporation
of sustainable building materials and
water conservation practices.
