Florida
regalia
If you prefer islands in the sky,
then you may be drawn to Regalia in
Sunny Isles, Florida. It’s a 43-story residential
tower that delivers double views
of the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal
Waterway. Designer Bernardo Fort-Brescia
of the architectural firm Arquitectonica
captures the rhythms of undulating waves in
his glass-sculptured design. Each of the 40
residences (one per floor) consists of 5,515
square feet of interior space wrapped on
four sides by walls of glass. Outside, a 10foot-deep
terrace encircles each residence.
Regalia’s design allows natural light to
flood the interior. The structurally flexible
homes were designed with plumbing and
utilities in every wall, so you can choose the
developer’s floor plan or create your own.
The sizable units allow for niceties such
as wine cellars, saunas, and steam rooms.
The property also will include shared
amenities such as an infinity pool, a billiards
room, a fitness center, and private
beachfront cabanas. A concierge will be
on call for everything from private jets to
bodyguards.
